To join, you must:

• be a knitter
• live in Minnesota (or be here often enough that you might as well live here)
• update your site somewhat regularly
• display the ring code on your site

Pretty simple, eh?

Notes:

• Your site will remain in the queue (a sort of holding area) until the code is working properly (correct links, no broken images, etc.). If your code breaks, you're site will be moved to the queue.
• At any time, you can log into the RingSurf site (see link in sidebar) where you can: Edit/Update your info, remove yourself from the ring, copy/paste the code as it's customized for your site.
• Please keep the email you receive when you sign up - it has all the info you need.
• Feel free to play with the code a bit. The links to Home, List, Previous, and Next are required. Images are not required, a text link to home is fine.
• The rules/guidelines may change as the ring grows or I discover things I consider to be problems.
• Any comments/suggestions or to contribute a button, drop me an e-mail.

damn, that took me forever to get some of those up.

If you'd like to use them, my preference is that they replace the text "Minnesota Knitters", keeping them linked to that webaddress (so they can still get back to the home page).

Don't forget to save them to your own site. I'm not a fan of my bandwidth being stolen. Thanks!

Reminder...
When adding the code to your site, please make sure that you're getting YOUR code, and not mine. Many people have added the (previous & next) links still including the id=1. 1 is my id. You will have a different number. Please make sure it's correct so you can be added quicker. Thanks!

Welcome
Due to some interest on the TCSnB group, I've created a ring for us. We are currently lacking in the button category. If you have an idea for one, feel free to create it and send it in! (I'd appreciate it if they were 'button' sized - approx. 120 pixels wide and 40 tall, or something close to that.) Preferred formats are jpg or gif, but if can't do that, you can send the file to me and I'll convert it.
